Progresif Sdn Bhd, recently hosted a heartwarming sungkai gathering at McDonald’s Lambak on Friday, April 14th, 2023. The initiative was driven by the values of Ramadan, a month of compassion and giving, and aimed to inspire happiness and hope through acts of kindness towards children from Yayasan Kanser Kanak-Kanak (YASKA) and Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Untuk Anak-Anak Yatim (DANA).
The event began with motivational talk that emphasized the beauty of Ramadan and Hari Raya led by Ustaz Loqman Hamdan, followed by a recitation of Tahlil. The invited guests, along with Progresif and Makan Ceria’s management, broke their fast together in a spirit of community and togetherness.
The event brought together 15 children from YASKA and 25 orphans from DANA along with their guardians. Progresif provided each child with a delicious Happy Meal from a diverse menu of options. In addition, the children received special Raya packets and gift packs containing an assortment of biscuits, snacks, and sweet treats to celebrate the upcoming Hari Raya festival.
